My client is an innovative, award-winning, solution provider to the smart energy sector.

They are now seeking a sales leader for the Nordic territories to support the development of the business across Europe. The role will be home-based in Stockholm, with a requirement to travel in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, and the UK as required.

Their products, tools, and software are focused on helping consumers to understand and manage their energy consumption – automatically and regardless of the heating/cooling/lighting solution in home.

Successful almost since start-up in 2006 the business now has more than 5,000,000 products deployed.

They are now working with pioneer clients in the Nordics – energy companies that seek to differentiate themselves from competitors by offering industry-leading energy management tools from our client.

To succeed in the Nordics they needed to be able to a) provide solutions for all of the commonly deployed systems in the Nordics – which they have done and b) find the right leader for their Nordic business; someone who can build relationships with energy suppliers across the Nordic zone and own the targets associated with success.

Role responsibilities:

Achieve budgeted revenue and margin objectives in current and subsequent FYs
Create a structured business development program to grow company activities by turnover, profit, and geographic spread
Develop a deep understanding of the Nordic market (specifically: Sweden, Norway, Finland) to best identify market opportunities for the development of the business in the region
Be regarded by internal and external stakeholders as an expert in the market area
Intimately know the key organisations and their inter-relations in the sector
Understand and maintain current knowledge of our market position and that of our competitors in the sector
Assess and analyze customer and market intelligence into a consumable format for management presentation/ digest and translation into product development requirements

To be considered for this position the successful applicant will:

Have provable experience in delivering strategic sales solutions in the Nordics.
Be a native Swedish speaker with business level English
Demonstrate strong business acumen with financial + sales and marketing knowledge in a b2b sales role
Show strong and current knowledge of the retail energy sector and/ or the Nordic b2b environment

Your experience and qualifications will include:

Minimum 5 years multi-product sales experience in a b2b environment, with the ability to influence and sell at all levels within an organisation
Track record of profitable sales growth in parallel or comparable b2b market against formal KPIs
Excellent presentation skills which demonstrate an ability to understand and interpret customer needs
Self-starting
Strong analytical skills. Ability to create as well as to interpret outputs from insight and analysis
Highly developed networking and professional social skills

Rewards:

The successful applicant can expect a base salary of between 850,000 SEK and 950,000 SEK plus target based bonus
